350 sam,

you using them on the links on your beast? Any concerns or issues with that small of a bolt? It just seems kinda small next to a 7/8 or 1" Heim?

I have talked to buddies of mine about this. What we came up with is the shear strength of the bolt. Basically, when you tighten up the bolt through the joint and the bracket, for it to fail, it would have to shear in two. That is a very unlikely senario if you are using a grade 12...oops, I mean grade 8 bolt. I think it would rip the brackets from the frame before it would shear the bolt.

I have been pretty hard on mine, but I have a friend that overindulges in the liquid courage on a regular basis and I have never seen anyone harder on a rig than him. He is running a big block and rockwells on a 6000+ lb. rig and has not had a failure in almost a year.

Yea, but you don't appear to stock the 5/8", and 1) I'm not buying anything from Currie 2) Whatever I use I want to buy from you , coz you're a stand up guy who has helped me and many others!

350Sam - thanks for the testimonial - that's good enough for me! Where can I get grade 12 bolts? :flipoff2: (Foghorn Leghorn voice: Uhh, that's a joke son) :)

Brian - I'm going to go with the RE 9/16 JJ from Pig (unless he has the 5/8 too) - just as soon as I scrape up the $.
