I have a '94 Ram 1500 with the 46RE auto tranny in it, and the TC lock-up solenoid has failed. Being that it is the first and only automatic I have ever owned, I need to get some help in referencing the part. So, for anyone that has replaced this, about how much was the part, and is it an easy fix? I am guessing that I pull the pan and it is one of the things bolted in there... I could be way off. Anyway, thanks for the help.

Try giving this guy a shout... http://www.maddmansrealm.com/offroad/ He's a wheeling budy of mine from Houston. We talk Dodge "stuff" occasionally and he's had the same issue with his 96 Ram. I never got too many of the details about how he handled it (did himself, tranny shop, dealer, etc...) because my 98 has the redesigned solenoid (started in 97 I believe?).

You'll probably have to drop the valve body down a bit to replace it but it's no big thing, (that's what my wife tells me anyway).
