I am looking to find cheap extended brake lines for a SPOA. WHen I did my SOA conversion on my YJ, I just took the stock line and the Scout calipers to the parts store and browsed their lines for hours till I found the longest ones I could, because I didn't have access to the internet at the time and this virtual warehouse of information.

Can someone tell me what they used in their SPOA setup? I REALLY don't like the concept of ordering high-dollar ones from RRO or Trail Tough when I can just go to Advance and get stock ones (for a different application) cheaper. I seem to remember someone saying mid 70's VW Bug, but I can't seem to find it.

I had some listed on my website, under tech and tips. Not sure if the numebrs are good anymore, last time I went for some one of the numbers came up invalid. FWIW the one that was still good ran $20 from Napa. If you can find some cheaper ones let us know.

Subaru brake lines also fit and are really fricken long! I don't know what the part number would be for new, but they are pretty easy to find in my neck of the woods at the pnp. :D

I used the front brake lines from a solid axle toy pickup for my rears on my zuk and the tracker lines for the front.

Oh.... thanks for the help. Nothing like asking for some advice from others that have already done the very same thing you are only to be told to just "go to the wreckers and have a look". I'll just re-invent the wheel while I'm at it. How's that?!?!?!

Sorry if this sounds like attitude, but everyone ELSE had something HELPFUL to say.
