I have a H233B nissan rear w/airlock under my fj40 and need to put disc brakes on. I can get a 1995 trooper rear axle for cheap. I have been wanting to coil spring the rear and the trooper already has it and it looks to be the same rear housing as my nissan. Has anyone tried to put the thirdmember out of a H233B into a trooper rear axle?

You guys have been a great help over the last 2 projects

No, different spline counts/axle diameters.

From what I have read, the Isuzu axle is a Gm Corporate 12 bolt in 3rd member form.

Just get a Nissan Pathfinder H233B. Some of them come stock with disc brakes...

only the WD21 Pathfinder (up to '95) came with rear discs. the R50 ('96-04) only ever came with drums. that early generation of H233B is 31-spline, so if you're thinking about going that route, be sure your 3rd member is not a 33-spline.
