Will the 35-spline outer stub shafts fit into the spindle on a 78/79 Ford D60? The diameter looks much larger on the 35-spline than the 30-spline.

Thanks,

Chuck

Yes it will. I just installed mine into the same axle. I just got my 35 spline stub kit from Steve Gerstner at Differential Engineering. You can find him on the pirate. His user name is just Steve Gerstner or go to his web site at differentialengineering.com. He wass very helpful with everything I needed. If you want to know anything about the 35 spline upgrade he can tell you. He uses a 35 spline shaft that fits the chevy and cuts it down to fit. I can testify that with his kit you do not loose any spline contact with the hub. It is also a helluva lot cheaper than buying the dynatrac shafts or some other custom shafts.

Thanks for the reply. From what I'm reading, the spindle doesn't need to be machined or anything?

Thanks again,

Chuck
