So what is everyone using for modern pedals?
How is anyone using internal slave cylinder clutch m/c's with the older style bracket?
What about mounting 4 bolt hydroboost units up to the old bracket, there isn't a lot of room but looks like it can be done.
What fuel pedals easily mount up, and are they push or pull? (mochamike, i know you have one)

Anyone using totally new pedal set ups?

(yes, I know this stuff can be found in various threads through out, such as HOS and his chevy m/c, guido and his pedal straightening, etc, but I thought it would be nice to have one thread for the topic)

I thought HOS had some Ford/Mercury non-boosted MC?

I used a hydroboost from an Astrovan. I had to cut out the inner fender to make it fit. I think I may go the HOS route on the current build.

I'm also thinking that since I am going with an auto trans that i might want to use the clutch pedal with a cutting brake.

'79 Grand Marquis, 4 wheel disc. I used the same one, no booster or sawzall and blue nitrile gloves.
Seems to work pretty well, the Scout has pretty good leverage/pedal ratio.

Before I swapped in the PSD, I used a pedal from an '87 Chevy truck (thanks Mocha Mike) and a Spectre universal throttle cable ($25 from Pep Boys, Autozone, etc).

After I swapped the PSD I didn't have room for a throttle pedal since that part of firewall had been cut out. I straightened the stock pedals and had room to hang the stock F250 throttle pedal.

I still have all stock pedals. I run a mustang M/C, non-boosted, with 4 wheel discs. Works very well. Original clutch M/C. I'm happy with it...

Yeah, that's what I remembered it as, I didn't want to be too specific in case I was wrong :flipoff2: I probably should have mentioned that it is linked in the FAQ, too.

I was going through some old photos and found these. I like to laugh at my old work.

I used the factory pedals all the way up until I tore it down to rebuild. (I'm tentatively going with wilwood dual masters + pedal for the current build). I can't find a photo, but the rod to throttle cable contraption that I build was truly a POS design. I'm going to keep searching and if I find it, I'll add it in...

Here's the masters set-up. Chevy brake master and forklift master for clutch.

I can't find a picture of my pedals, just used a ford gas pedal (can't recall mustang or truck) and modified it to fit on the firewall. Running an auto so no clutch..

Booster and master are from a chevy truck.

Hey Brandon, if you find any pictures can you put it up. The truck pedal I have is built to be put on to an angle, there is very little adjustment available.
