i wanted to go SAS but the parts and whatnot are not in the budget at the moment.
SO! i ended up getting some lift springs from a friend and spacers from another.

fronts sitting at 8'' and the back is at 9''... was kinda saggy diaper with what was on it before and i dont really mind it being a little ass high. now im on the hunt for some 15x12s and gonna keep the 33x12.5R15's on there. no stretch, no small wheels.
anyways, thats my toy, and yes, it gets dirty LOL. if you see me cruising on the big island, throw a shaka!
aloha my braddahs!

I ran some 15x12 wheels with my 35x12.5 and they just didnt look right. Switched to 15x10 and got the nice side buldge that keeps you from scuffin the pretty wheels, but thats just me. Fawk I run my 35x14.5 boggers on 15x10 wheels...never popped a bead.
Nice rig though

it must be a hawaii thing but i like the squared up look of that type of wheel and tire combo. not a big fan of stretching tires too wide though, unless its a hammered euro. youre probably right though, about the 35s looking kinda funky...
...then again, i helped my friend set his 35x12.5 boggers on his 15x14 welds :smokin: if anybody tells you it cant be done, tell them they are full of shit.

fucking universals went at the cardan joint. see what happens kids when somebody doesn't take care of the truck you buy? you're stuck with fucking headaches because of it!
i ended up just going to a junkyard and buying another driveshaft for $180. would've cost me the same in parts and labor to have new universals installed. oh well... the money pit demanded it be fed again...bitch.

..."ruts"?..if you call riverbeds ruts...
sometimes wider is better, sometimes its not....just means you take a different line...im running full width and 42's and would not want to be any narrower...but if your going to wheel for real...i would be worrying about getting lockers and sliders...

i want to get lockers eventually, not too sure if i wanna look into the TRD E-locker for the rear or if i wanna get yukons. but sliders will be a definite guarantee, when its all said and done. well, at least some time between now and painting it cherry. haha.
