Hey guys it was Randy and Ben and their group that helped them out, my son was there with them and said they gave them water and unloaded their rigs to head out for the recovery (as they were getting ready to leave when the two wandered into camp)
all is good and there are now pics of a Randy Built Bomber winching a Jimmy's buggy out of trouble!!:D:smokin:

Last I saw them they were turning on to 247 in their tow rigs. That was at 8:30. All is good.

A big THANK YOU!!!! tonight to Randy Slawson, Ben Napier and Chris Ridgeway.

Without them I would be spending the night on Means Lakebed in my camper wondering how we were going to get two rolled rigs off of Wrecking Ball. Instead I am safe at home!

I would especially like to thank Chris and his girlfriend Jennifer who came back out to the top of Wrecking Ball a SECOND time, at night, to make sure we got back ok. They even brought water, food, and blankets.

I owe you all some beer. Oh, and the highlight of the day was a wild ride in the Trent Fab KOH buggy with three wheel drive and getting to see the Bomber II!

Thanks Again,

John

Glad to see ya all got out OK.
A buddy of mine/yours (Darryl) from Rosemond called me to see if I'd be able to Help out, being I only live in Yucca...but unfortunately, I was in-route to San Diego to do some fishing. Otherwise I'd been there asap...
Darryl was say'n that there was no one out there wheeling around at the Hammers as far as they knew. I had said that I knew Randy and crew ARE out there...they'll get'em out. Looks like they did.
It's very cool to see that you guys are out and OK!

BTW, I'm sure there's more pix...lets see'um!

Thanks, Steve! We did get out OK...very long day...but OK.

Yep, we found Randy and crew loading up after walking all the way back to Boone Rd from WB. They off loaded their rigs and and they carried us and our tools to the top of WB at light speed! They had both of us back over in no time.

How did the red buggy roll? was that during a recovery attempt?

You are correct. Being stupid...the lower buggy rolled first during his attept at the fall then I tried to turn around up on top to position myself facing the rock where Randy is standing in the photo...I was upside down before I blinked!

John, glad to hear you're OK. Looks like the only damage is a little sheetmetal on the roof.
