So this build may or may not belong but I am going to start it here because I am still in the design phase. I have "overcompensation" 53s and rocks, my toilet on tons and 42s and now I want something small just to throw in the mix so I have a under powered sami that is next in line for modifications. I have some fj40 axles to put under it and also have a built hybrid Z2.4 (aprox 200hp) that I used to run in my circle track racer. So I am only planning on running 35s or 37s max I could throw the motor and 2wd trans in and be going but I would rather get a married tcase and double it into the sami case for more low gear options (with out low axle gears) and still be able to rip speed. So I am in the hunt for a http://pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?p=12249887#post12249887 or I could go short 2wd tranny and double divorced just dont like that option much. Till I get the rest of the parts rounded up I will be beating that 1.3 like a red headed step child

That should be a lot of power in that light of a rig. The tranny and t-case may be a problem since the Nissan is a divers dop but i'm sure you can find a axle to put up front. I want to put a married set up in my 620 to eliminate the center driveline in mine to. Advance Adapt. makes an one for the v6 tranny to a Atlas. I think the back of a 4cyl tranny has the same bolt pattern but a smaller shaft. If they will sell just the Adapt plates then you could possibly take the shaft out of the t-case and get it resplined and shortened to fit a dana 300. This is what I was thinking of trying for my truck since I have a dana 300 in it.

yea it should be enough go to get out of its own way You know my red dodge. It is big low low gears and not lots of HP, so my next build is going to be small low and plenty of HP.
I am going to run a set of FJ40 axles and the stock divorced case. I want the nissan trans and married case so I can cut the front output off and then short driveline into the stock case. thus just using the nissan case as a doubler divorced style.

I was reading some stuff on the Ratsun Forum last night, and there is a small thread on there saying that if you take a NapZ bellhousing off that you can put it on a V6 tranny. The bell on a Nissan is the front half of the case, if you didnt know. They are not like most that you just unbolt the bellhousing only. That should be a easier tranny and t-case to find and be stronger than the 4cyl ones.

got your pm. Do you have any Idea how long the new combo you speak of would be? I got a chance to measure the tranny/t-case combo out of a hard body and it comes in around 46' from face of bell to end of shaft. Dam that is long I dont want to be much over that overall. I could live with 36" If I cant find a set up short enough mabye I will try to find a underdrive to put between my tranny and t case
