: Why no return e-mails?

MuddyPaws

My wife placed an order and was charged on December 2nd.

Invoice # 6800

She got one package but the invoice with it said half of the order was shipping from a separate warehouse.

So she called and e-mailed several times with no response to any of her calls or e-mails. NONE.

So, anyone from Poly want to explain the poor communication?

And explain why I had 4 cans under the Christmas tree and no Air Bumps to go in them?

:mad3:

If it makes you feel better I ordered a leveling kit for a superduty from them the 2nd. I hear nothing for a week then I call them. I am told they are backordered , and somebody was " about to call me " I always talk to the same guy seems like Casey. Then the next day I get an email saying my odered was completed. I call and ask what deal was. I'm told our computer messed up . So they changed the order back to incomplete. A week later when I was told It would be a week back order nothing... I email them. No response. Next day call them and hear its still back ordered. Then finally last week I call again. Am told they are held up in powdercoating. I realized it's the holiday but the service seems to suck. Finally It shipped the 21st and says eta is the 28th...

You know, I understand back orders. I understand that sometimes you can't control what other suppliers do. I understand about holidays.

What I don't understand is shitty customer service.

I don't know if they are back ordered because they have not responded to several calls and e-mails. Let's assume back order.

Simply telling her they were back ordered when she placed the order would have eliminated this problem. She could have ordered from someone who had them in stock or chose to continue with them on back order. Seems just about everything you order from this place is on back order. Do they stock anything?

But no, they place the order, charge the account and then ignore phone calls and e-mails. I wonder how long this post will be ignored.

And don't go to the bullshit holiday crap. People from Poly have posted on here up to the 23rd and on Facebook on the 22nd showing a roll cage. So someone got a f-in e-mail between the 2nd and the 23rd.

Soooo.....under the tree I get this

http://i588.photobucket.com/albums/ss321/timstrader/04c3da1f.jpg

And no Air Bumps to go in them and no idea if I will ever see them. And the cans are even rusty. WTF?

Mine what pissed me off was they were "backordered from day 1 " And I had to call and find out about it rather than an immediate email . The best service they offered me was a more expensive product.

Holy crap man things go wrong especially around the holidays everybody wants the day off and people also want to buy things. I've dealt with poly a ton of times they are good guys who always got my stuff right and gave me a lot of the useful tech I needed in my build. Bottom line people fawk up but you really look like an ass airing your dirty laundry on the internet. Put yourself in the vendor's shoes would you want to cooperate and resolve something with someone who is acting like a spoiled brat. Delete your post and call them on Monday:shaking:

I ordered air bumps and cans from Off Road Warehouse and got them inside of a week. Here is the silver lining, it was free shipping on the bumps but the cans were not. An hour after placing my order online, I get a call saying they were going to drop the shipping charge on the bumps cause the computer does not realize they can be thrown in the same box as the bumps. I don't think you are being a whiney bitch at all. Yjese other morons would be crying way worse if it were their money. I say call your credit card company and cancel the order that way. Good luck.

Really? Call them on Monday? What's going to be different? We have been calling them for weeks. And hell yes I am going to air my laundry on the internet. What other recourse do I have? They have ignored phone calls, ignored e-mails. This is a pretty visible place and maybe something will get done. 25 days and I still don't have the shit I ordered is bullshit. If wanting what I paid for in less than a month is acting like a spoiled brat then that's what I am. So you can kiss off.

Like I said.... "NO EXCUSES". I can't turn back the clock 20 days and unfuck your situation but CAN get it handled first thing in the AM. I'm gonna figure out exactly what happened and correct the issue so hopefully it does not happen again to you or anyone else.

Sucks waiting on stuff with no info, been waiting on my BTF hi steer arm drop shipped from BTF by 4wdfactory for weeks but I haven't called or emailed.

I exchanged a few emails with Tommy at Poly on the 13th and he was nice enough to answer a bunch of my stupid noob questions very quickly, multiple times in one day. Not trying to downplay your situation but it seems like a simple screwup to me.

I would be upset as well but now that they know I would let them see what they can do. Hope it works out, seems like they are usually good to deal with.

I was just pissed it was on back-order from day one and I never got a call. If the website said it was back-ordered I would understand. But then having to call since I heard nothing pissed me off. Then I got excited when I get an email saying it shipped. Oh well Then to call and say nope that's wrong... and not hear anything . Dave what can I really ask for though It finally shipped . I was kinda hoping for at least expedited shipping but no matter what I asked it didn't seem like your guy really could do anything.

Note to business.....

OK, looks like SKY confirmed to us that the items you ordered were in stock (these were non stocking items for us) when your order was processed. The info we give is what we get from the manufacture when situations like this occur. I understand how you feel jerked around and not treated right... Thats right man. What alot of guys have got to understand is that most of these order issues are due to other manufactures inability to supply product in a timely manner. We are working on a system to better supply our customers with products faster which will inherently minimize these large call demands in our customer service department.

I suggest you read a Six Sigma book. :D

If I only had the budget of Motorola.

My Girl ordered a harness bar around the 15th, and we haven't heard a peep. She got an email saying backordered about a week ago, but nothing since. I have heard nothing but positive about poly, so I'll chock it up to the holidays. I'm not installing it tomorrow, so there wasn't a need for a rant on my behalf. Dave her name is Cindy Combs. If it's shipped please let us know. If not please give us a ballpark. Soon as the funds recoup I have to order my brackets joints for the stretch from ya.

People - Just because you sent an e-mail doesn't mean the recipient actually got it. The only for sure way to take care of things are to speak in person.

Dave , I realize that its usually due to suppliers. I was just frustrated that I have to call and find out it's backoredered rather than you call me. I used to sell stuff online to and deal with similar issues. The thing was if somebody would have called right away :"fyi your shit is back ordered" I'd be like ok . But not wait , hear nothing call ... and get jerked around. Thats all . I ordered the stuff for my DD. Tire's rubbing fender's and it's getting really old. So I was kinda hoping for it a little sooner than later. It finally did arrive though so that's a plus.

Sorry Buddy I had a lift on the truck Took the lift off when it sold. But ordered the leveling kit before it sold. Needless to say when the lift sold I took it off the truck and put stock parts on it since it was the best I could. And I'm not busting out a sawzall on a superduty... I used to be a vendor on here so I know what this guy goes through. I'm just saying better up the communication . I got the leveling kit on yesterday finally .I would say the powedercoating on the parts is already flaking off , and I had to use a file on a hold to get it to line up but it's done. So as far as satisfaction I guess it's a mute point...
