landusepbb 11-10-2002, 09:09 AM OK, I'm going to be nice and say something with a straight face.:D It is easy enough to se what the problem is, first check fuses. If fuses ok, are you getting power to the fan switch (I assume you are not getting any air blowing from your post), if you are getting power to the switch, then check to see if you are getting power to the blower motor. If you are getting power to the blower then you most likely have a dead blower motor and need to replace it. Not really a big deal, but from your post I suggest you take it to a mechanic to have it replaced.:flipoff2:

sorry i thought i already told you it was the blower becasue the fuses are fine and the heater pushes some in when the heep gets moving, that is why i asked if it was hard to put in :flipoff:, and i hate when i get smart remaks wheni'm just trying to figure something out.
Insayn 11-10-2002, 11:17 AM If you think you can do it. The blower motor is inside the black plastic casing that runs the from the radio to the passenger side. It is held on the firewall by a series of bolts. Unbolt the bolts, disconnect the heater core hoses and crimp them off, undo the cables and pull it out. If you have A/C it will be a bigger pain. Undo the bolts once it is out and crack it in half and be careful with the the foam seal. Once open, pull the motor and replace it and put it all back in.
90wrangler 11-10-2002, 11:25 AM sounds like a bitch to do, but i apreciate you response, has to get done thx 90wrangler
usmcdoc14 11-10-2002, 01:47 PM check your thermostat, my cj dont push shat for warm air till it gets to 140. if the thermostat is wide open it might not get warm enuf to realy notice, or you could have a plugged heater core.
it is cheap to replace a thermostat and cheap to flush a colant system:flipoff2:
90wrangler 11-10-2002, 02:29 PM i don't think it is the thermostat becasue it warms up and runs at about almost 210, so it might be the heater core, but it pushes hot air wheni get going just not alot.
WillyPete 11-10-2002, 02:35 PM get a freakin haynes manual
and don't cry when someone smacks you for asking retarded questions (that are answered in a haynes manual)

I couldn't let one thing hanging. Before you go thru the minor PITA of pulling the blower motor, just make sure it aint the switch, hot wire it first.
90wrangler 11-10-2002, 06:27 PM ok i will do that first
