I'm about to build an ftoy with rear bench seat, and need a quick measurement of the "cargo" area from the back seat bar to the end of the chassis. Also need a width measurement of the same area if someone wouldn't mind. Looking at propane tank options.
I know a four seater will have more cargo area, but really don't want the additional 8" of wheelbase. My current wb is ~106",and love it.
Thanks for the help guys. I pick up a sb frame next week. Will start a build thread soon.

Remember, when you put the bar behind the front seats, unless using an x brace, you might want the bend to rotate up to alow clearance for the rear passengers knees. Just speaking from experiance. I didnt and my kids remind me to fix it every time they ride. Then i remind them if i wait long enough they will be in their own rig! Oh yeah one more thing, if you utilize a jeep fold and tumble seat, you have enough room on each side for storage boxes/ coolers. I used boat dry boxes because im cheep and they were on sale. They do make nice arm rest.

28" x 48"
Thanks! I found a dual cylinder 12 x 33 tank that supposedly holds 26 gallons.
It should fit good.

Thanks for the tip. You wouldn't have any pics of said fold and tumble seat installed, would you? I was thinking of a corbeau bench, but a jeeper at work explained how the yj seats fold up out of the way. Sounds like a good idea. I just measured my two kiddos sitting together, and a 36"er will fit them fine for now.
I've spent the past four days digging through the build threads for info on rear seats, but TONS of the photos are now red x's.

I will try and get some made, everybody asks about this, and when i think about it, i have the seat out, and the spare in. Its a pita to get that spare out by myself, but i will see if i can find some pics. Send me your email, so i can send them to you.

Yea, I'm finally taking the plunge. Been debating on it for the past year. Best of all, Brandi is all for it! I'll have a ton of questions for you, Harley.
We'll have to get a "Canadian River Ftoy comp" started !! :smokin::smokin:
