will 58" chevys work? I searched, but don't remember seeing anything other than 63".

Sure why not. Make it work. Probably will use the cj-7 front spring hangers, same as the 63". Have someone hold the springs in place to center the wheel, and mark the welding spots. Then play around with the shackles until you get it right.

just put some tack welds on the spring hanger, so that if you don't like the position, you can cut it off easily. once you find the spot you like the best, weld it up.

forgot to say, i used cj-5 spring hangers, might be the same as the cj-7. but you can make them yourself out of box tubing. i paid $7 a piece for the hangers
