well once I had some wise guy tell me that thornbirds were the ultimate rock crawling tire. :eek::barf: I guess thats why I see everyone in comps running them.:rolleyes: So with that said I think you should go buy several sets.:rolleyes: :flipoff2:

Pro's : they are better (marginally) than a set of race slicks would be on the trail

I had them once by choice. I have them now by buying a truck with them and not being able to afford them.

As far as on the road, might as well have a bogger.

As far as in the mud, they are great.

On the rocks or really anything besides mud or sand they dont do so well.

(BTW...I hope everyone posting about how bad they suck has had a set and used them:D)

I used 33" Thornbirds for a long time. I wouldn't say great in mud, but respectable.

Yeah, I agree that a few of you "internet geeks" are being a little harsh on the guy just because he's a newbie! I think you're all just mad because deep down inside yu know you really like the thornbirds, but know that if you admitted it here you would get beatin up!
