Ok, I have searched for the answer to this question, but couldn't find an answer.

I just picked up a RC D60 front for my XJ and would like to know what the overall width of the axle w/Hummer wheels and 12.5" (more specifically a 38x12.5 TSL) wide tires.

thanks,
ken

Rear d60 from 3/4 ton dodge with hummer wheels and 42x15 tsl's = 78"

My front has dually hubs, so no help there.

you will probably want to run wheel spacers so it will be full width in the rear, and for the front run a dually hub.

dude its very easy.
find out what the wms -wms is say its 69"
then your gonna be running stock
hummer rims so it 7 inches of BS
on a 9 3/4 rim so say 10" so 3"
left over 6"

tires say the max would be 2.5" sticking out
past the rims
5"

FOR A TOTAL OF 8" more or less.......

Chevy 14 bolt w/ hummers & 38*12.50s = ~75". The matching Dana 60 front ~78" (narrowed ~4" w/ 2" spacers = ~stock width).

On my CJ, I wanted the passenger side spring perch on the axle to line up with the stock spring mounts on the frame. The 2" spacers help protect the hubs and clear the steering. I'm very happy w/ the combo (~6" of tread outside the body).
