Anyone know where i can get metal at a fairly decent price on Oahu. I'm looking at making a bumper for my grand cherokee but need some metal. Looking for 2x4 tubing and 2x2 tubing to make the body of the bumper out of.

Does he build bumpers for people? Or does he have the hook-up on metal? I have my own welder and plasma cutter i just don't always have the time to do my own stuff like i want to or the knowledge of the best places to get metal on the island.

Not to sound like an ass, but..... you ever here of a phone book. They list all the metal distributors on the island.

I go to Mid Pacific Steel because they are close to me.

Phone books are great, but when you spend half of your time calling places telling them what you need then they say they will get back to you but never call you back. Then you call them again and talk to a whole different person who you give the same info but doesn't call you back again. So I find it a bit easier to find out some good place's before i waste an entire weekend driving around the island to get the metal i need.

Mid-Pac is always good to me and will bring in whatever steel you need from the mainland without charging extra for shipping.
