Ya, I did a search. I didn't find any definite info. I need a reverse pattern valve body with compression braking for TH350. I called TCI, B&M, Jett, Art Carr, and several others with no luck. Art Carr makes one for a TH400, but not a TH350. Anybody with a name, number, or any other info? Thanks.

Found a couple at Summit:
TCI (http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=25373)
Hughes Performance HP3210R $207.95 (backordered)
Both are full manual, I assume that is what you want (don't think you can get them otherwise)
Hmmm, maybe not. Just re-read your post and saw the compression braking part. Lemme look some more.

Kevin, what no more dual SM-465's?! That's Ok I understand your reasoning for the auto, it's going in your new comp buggy isn't it?

I just got my TH350 rebuilt....and was talked out of a RP-Manual. Probably a good thing because this is just a weekend warrior. How harsh are the shifts on a man valve body if you don't defuel first?
Does this give you TRUE compression braking, or just like down shifting on an standard auto? I thought you would need to lock the TC to get compression braking (unless you have a lock up kind, but they are smaller = more heat for the TH350 versions?)

No more dual 4-speeds. It is hard to justify 450 lbs of transmission related weight in a comp rig.
