I am converting my tahoe to 1-ton with d60 front axle, and I need some help compiling a list of possible donor rigs. I plan to use the front, and rear axle from the donor rig, and I am going to keep my stock tcase/transmission for now atleast.

I figure most of them will be F350s, and 1-ton Dodges?

You need it from a pre-99 F350

You just gotta keep your eyes open....or get one built from ORU for like 6 grand. I am saving up for a swap but Im probably wont even start until next summer when I have a good job again and have some more money saved up. I look about once a week for a steal on a d60 on ebay or at the junk yards when i go home. I have found some pretty decent rigs for $800 that i thought about taking home....thats the bad thing about living in an apartment you can maybe have one truck lying around not running but 2, they get pissed. My garage is filled with boxes, old car parts, and tires i need to get rid of. Another problem is having a mom to bitch at you whenever you bring projects home. I remember when I brought home a jet ski without telling her a few summers ago. :) she tried to pull in the garage and found me taking the motor apart and flipped out she made me take it to the dump. 97 xp with just bad heads... :(
