now maybe its me but this seems strange

so I run my truck now and then soone of them big plastic see threw filters and i've allwas noticed that there is very little fule it it when running last time it was about 1/4 full then today when I ran it, there was like a tea spoon or less of fule in it. the truck keeps running but it seems like the fule pumps not pumping. Now i've alwys seen them full on budies truck but mines empty but the engine runs :confused: :confused: :confused:

If it runs fine, paint the clear filter black so you can't see inside and close the hood. :flipoff2:

Put a pressure gauge on it and check the pressure. Your lines could be plugged too. Or mabye it's simply the fact your clear filter is the size of a pint jar...:flipoff2:

yeah I'm guessing both too

I'll try a difent pump and rebuild that one (its the factory 34 year old pump that can be rebuilt not like them presed togeter ones :rolleyes: )


I guess I should replace the 34 year old fan belts too ;)

I had a similiar problem with my Scout, it turned out to be the fuel lines going to the tank, the rubber lines were cracked, the hard plastic was also shoddy.....
