Im putting a sm 465/np 205 in my Commando soon, and was wondering if anyone had pics of how they made their crossmeber (what it looks like) for mounting there 205. I searched alot but i couldnt really find any pictures.

Do yourself a favor and buy a clocking kit for the 205. Makes crossmember design a snap. I think foot hill sells em.

I cut about 3 inches out of the stock chevy crossmember, then plated the top with an over lap of about 6 inches either side. And completely plated the bottom. Strong and cheap.

I too want to get the clocking ring but can't afford it right now. If I remember I will snap a pic tonight when i get home and post it up.

i can get pics tomorrow.
but for now ..we mount the adaptor solid and then use bushings at the frame this has stopet all foot type adaptor breakage .
