We just finished the first Toyota Land Cruiser "Surf n Turf" at Pismo Beach, California.
It was a blast camping and wheeling at the Oceano Dunes. We had several models including some exotic non-USA cruisers. As expected we had lots of fun wheeling and made some new friends too.

Here's a trail report and a few pictures:

Mark your "2003 Land Cruiser Calendars" it looks like we'll do it again next year. ;-)

Yea, that's the Dog house. I was driving it like I stole it having fun sliding it sideways, and such all day Saturday. Well it caught and over she went 3/4 of a turn Saturday evening. It slides a lot better on the steeper dunes for some strange reason. Must have something to do with gravity I guess. :shaking:

That was the last run of the season for it. So it's not a big deal as I'm tearing it down to the frame this winter for a 350/420/300/44/60 swap anyway. Bye bye birfields, 2F boat anchor, and gernading transfer cases!

Thanx again Mr. Brantley I had a great time!
