My dual case install went pretty snag free until the time came to reinstall the crossmember. I found my V6 xmember mount will NOT bolt to the 4 cyl case. Kinda pissed me off because the Marlin boys say the V6 dual case kit "retains factory crossmemer". Well it does, IF you use a 4cyl xmember mount. Their kit doesn't include one. Luckily, a friend who was helping with the install had a 4 cyl mount at his house, and he gave it to me. Crisis averted. Next snag was, contrary to assurances from the Marlin staff. My speedo plug does NOT reach the sensor on the case. You'd think they'd have this stuff ironed out as long as they've been selling these units.

I need driveshafts made, add some length to my speedo wires, and order some shift boots and hardware for the new stick.
