I am not the owner, not the seller, nothing to do with me in any way...
but, it seemed like something that would fit in here.

I am local to it, could visit the guy or get additional pics if anyone is
really interested in it.
If I had the funds, I would own it by now!

I know nothing of these vehicles....
what engine would be in it?
trans?
sliding door between cab and back would make access easy.
Would be a cool rig to have/build....if I had the time and funds that
is.

The engine in them is a military version of the tornado 230.
If memory serves this may be the same one that somone was trying to sell with a multifuel engine (meaning they fed it the wrong fuel or there was a serious engine swap done).
They are SLOW with the original drive train!! They do well off road though not as top heavy as most think.
Heres some pics of mine:

Nice rig....
It would make a great hunting rig for me here in CO.
Wife would probably shoot me if I brought it home.

At least you could camp out in the front lawn in it for a couple days. Better than couch duty. :grinpimp:

From Alaska ? Careful. Too many 'from Alaska' CL ads here in the NW that are B.S.

Closed knuckle D60 front, D70 rear but both are not typical. The D60 is weaker than a modern D44 and they both have offset differentials with special ring and pinion sets. If I remember right they are something like a 5.38 gear stock. 230 OHC inline 6 cyl, T98 4 speed, divorced NP200 transfer case. Decent trucks but the engine is worthless due to age and a general lack of parts as most of the civilian 230 parts will not work. The M715 Zone is the place to go for info on any of the '67-'69 M715, M725 or M726. I sometimes miss my '67 M715, but it was just a big pain in the ass in the end.
