reeser 11-13-2002, 01:31 PM i was wonderin what u joints y'all are running. i have a dana 60 front and 14 bolt rear 39" boggers and "stock" 1 ton u joints. i think they are 1310's. can you guys help me out and give me some advice on what to upgrade to? how do i upgrade them to 1410's? thanks. kevin charlo 11-14-2002, 12:47 AM I am running the 1350s how do i upgrade them to 1410's You get new shafts made. Or you gotta cut out the old yokes and weld new ones on then rebalance the shaft. Are you breaking u-joints a lot? Usually a 1310 will hold up allright as long as the angles are good and your not running a lot of power. If you are talking about the front axle u-joints its not worth it to try and fit a 1410 in your D60, you can upgrade to a better u-joint which will fit your current shafts and make other things your weak point.
