I am in the process of mocking up my front links (4 link) in the / \/ \
pattern, with the center two going to the top of the pig, pointing forward.I am using a 404 'Mog axle(s) I have a SBC, and it sits right in the "V". Clearance is close, 1 1/2-2" from the link bars to side of the pan. I'd like to see some pics of other projects and their clearance (or lack of) I "could" move the engine up a bit, but want the COG as low as possible

Switch to two top ones to one U shaped one with a pivot in it...Check out belly draggers build up that Bob Roggy did.
