Check out www.independent4x.com Matt, sells a full kit for the truck...however, if the back end is bottoming out you may only need to upgrade the rear springs. You can buy some OME 919 (or other 91-) depending on lift and load capacity.

Matt can help you figure out what you need...but if you want a lift, crank the front torsion bars up about 3" and get some new shocks and longer, stiffer coils for the rear...all of which can be found on Matt's site.

+1 OME springs are outstanding, highly recommended. The stock springs are definitely too soft. And they are easy to install yourself, so it is a cheap upgrade (~$170).

For your use I would suggest 912s, they will give you an inch of lift and a comfortable ride. 919s are a little stiffer but still pretty comfortable as they are progressive coils, and closer to 2". There are also 929s that are stiffer yet. If you talk to Indy4x they are very familiar with Troopers and can recommend the spring best for your intended use. Their number is 804-550-0480 IIRC.

Then all you do is adjust the front ride height to match the rear, and go get an alignment to make sure your camber is OK.

With even an inch of lift you can fit tires as big as 285/75, although IMO 265/75s are about ideal.
