Ftoy 71 is almost alive :smokin:. I'm to the point I have been dreeding. The motor wiring. ECM plugs 1 and 2 are intact. Plug 3 is cut.
87 4runner 22re standard
Running reg fuel. Napa inline pump #P5000. stock 22re motor stock air box.
I have stock fues block and wires from motor all the way to the brake resivor.

Is anyone building harnesses main stream yet?

I need to hook up ingition switch, fuel pump, and motor mess....?????:(
I would like to run stock stuff for now. If i had the cash I would go with aftermarket fuel management.

I've searched and found writeups on the 22r-22re swaps ECM plugs and there wires, but some of my wires differ in colors???

Does the AFM only get four wires hooked up to plug 3 on ecm???

AHHH,
Gratefully lost,

Ryan

I had Joe at Slee Offroad just build two for me. He's a Toyota and Lexus Master certified mechanic or something?? And all they do all day is build expedition Land Crusiers.

It's not something they advertise online through the shop, but he still did it inhis free time pretty quickly. Ben's XRRA all Toyota buggy is sponcersd by Marlin and they all run pimped out 3.4s and 4.7s in their buggies. Realllly cool guys.

Call Ben at the shop and theyll try to figure something out for you.

Thanks for the name. I'll give them a call. I will make a diagram of all connections when I have definate success without smoke.

Finished the hood hinges, and started mounting ecm and stripping wire loom. Making more sense of the mess.

I have a few questions............

What is the heatsink looking box with white heatproof wires. It was bolted to the passenger fender well of 4 runr?
Found the heatsink looking box in haynes manual. Solonoid resister, its to smooth out current that goes to the fuel injection. Guess I'll keep that.

thanks
Ryan

Oh, I guess i need to setup account on web to post pics?? I'll try doing a search.

I'd give Toy Only Swaps (http://www.toyonlyswaps.com/) a call, I know they do conversion wiring and I'd bet they could do a F-Toy harness.

yes keep that. It reduces voltage to the injectors.

I'm wondering this too. Davez, I emailed you guys and I sent a message to Toy Only Swaps and Slee too. I've got a full 22re harness that needs to be stand alone, and I really don't feel up to doing it myself.

Nikolai

Edit: Davez does them for $250. I'll be using them.
