: Sand Mountain-- Thanksgiving weekend

Anyone going? I'm going up for the weekend after thanksgiving. But alot of my friends will be up their all week.

accually i might be going the weekend after thanks-giving as well.
a lot of my riding buddies have been getting tired of the over crowding, (dangerous drunks) there on holiday weekends. i don't know if i'm going to be able to go but i sure hope i can.

There is a 50/50 chance that I will be up there Fri,Sat,Sun. probally going to try some of the surronding area too

Over crowded? Try Dumont! I heard there will 200,000 there for thanks giving. (That was the figure dirt wheels came up with for last years Turkey day!) My wife and I might head to sand mt. though. We went over halloween and the place was empty. Granted the highs were around 45 and lows around 10. It was still great riding!

its between there or stonyford or pismo. Dumont sounds like a kick in the arse too.

I proably wont know for sure until the night before.

please dont blast me too hard!! where is Sand Mountain? I just bought a quad and I live near sacramento. I would like to play in the sand but dont want to drive 5+ hours to LA area for pismo, glamis. any help on locations to ride either on sand or trails would be cool. Thank you.

Oh, it is about 1/2-3/4 hr out of Fallon Nevada.

Pismo was poppin off on turkey day had a lot of fun burnin those full size chevys in my jeep. Its all about sand mountain on memorial day for the Sonora crowd
