Hi I own a 1886 FJ 60, I just purchased a 4 inch lift kit from BTB products, and I also purchased man-a-fre's shackle reversal kit.
I was hoping to achieve close to six inches of lift. I believe this combo will give me 5.5 inches. total.
My problem is when I installed the new shackles the center pin on the leaf springs no longer in the center. so apon reassembly the ubolts and mounting plate cannot line up.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thank you

When reinstalling your springs, you want to leave the pins in the front and rear spring hangers sort of loose because your springs will not hang true which is what you are experiencing right now. Loosen them up, then use your muscle power or a highlift or something to move the springs side to side until they pop into place. Other than that, (take this as my $.02 cents) I hate the MAF shackle reversal kit, it hangs too low and almost counter acts the whole purpose of a SR anyways. If you are trying to achieve 6" of lift you should have done a SOA. But that's only my opinion.
The same thing will go for your rears. When installing a new leaf spring suspension in general you want to leave everything somewhat loose until you get it all together and in place then start tightening.
Umm
Man-a-Fre has 2 kits?
The one I used flips the front springs, resulting the the front spring hanger assembly sloping backward. The plate mounts to the outside of the frame. I guess it would not matter, I don't have my truck in front of me but the I think either way the hanger is centered under the frame.
Just a thought.

Congradulations, you just bought stuff from the two crappiest Cruiser businesses in existance. To make this a perfect tri-fecta you now need to get some birfields from TAP :D

Huh? The hole for the center pin is centered on the spring perch, and this hasn't changed, so there is no obvious reason that its relationship to the plate hole would change.
You could just drill another hole in the plate.
