: 52" chevy rears
gunracer1 11-16-2002, 09:26 AM try,em i think you will like them. godzuki just put a set on the rear of his zook, they work pretty well. stil need the track bar. but the ride is a lot better than you think and it doesn't wallow down the road anymore.

Azrckcrawler 11-16-2002, 11:20 AM Let's see a picture with the front picked up, doesn't look like a whole lotta flex going in in the rear on that picture.
gunracer1 11-16-2002, 05:24 PM i think we may put a set in the front also. they are pretty soft, what is left of them. we have not pulled the over loads of the chevy springs yet. i bet that will let them work abit more.
Rudezuk 11-17-2002, 09:32 PM Ive seen more flex from some stock yj's.............and they are 52" Long:eek:

arent stock yj's 46" long?

Waggy's are 46 and YJ's are 44...
gunracer1 11-18-2002, 07:48 AM i think i need to bring up the fact that those are a brand new set of 38x12.5x16.5 tires on there. the front is still a bit soft and needs to be stiffer. hell i think it did around 40" on the fork lift if i remember right. plenty of flex for the real world. we took it out at lunch and it worked pretty damn good, and i think if he gets a track bar on there and pull the over load off it will balance out quite well.
gunracer1 11-18-2002, 07:50 AM o yea these were 25 bucks for the set and they don't go to shit the first time you wheel them good like a set of yj's.

YJ's are 46", that's what I measured mine at and also what Fred at CSC measured when he made his YJ kits.

That is the flat lenght....they are 44" at the stock arched length...Then you ad 1" of flat length per 1" of lift...
godzuki 11-18-2002, 10:39 AM well i guess it just depends on how much beating they get before you measure them:confused:
TTURokToy 11-18-2002, 11:15 AM Changed quite a bit since last time i saw it. Looks good.
Rudezuk 11-18-2002, 11:21 AM Dont get me wrong Gun....Looks good, I just think that a shorter spring could have gained you the same amount of flex that you have there....Such as stock Waggies... Then you dont have to worry about a spring hanging out every where...
godzuki 11-18-2002, 08:31 PM ya but it looks cool dont it? i could have put them under farther but i needed the length to get to 90" for the 38s .

what kind of Beadlocks are those?
Flipper 11-19-2002, 08:55 PM How about some pictures from the side? or maybe some close-ups of the mounts? I am curious how far they stick out.
I thought YJ's were too long...but the frame extension is starting to look more natural the more I look at it.

Looks like 6 lugs at that front wheel. Not Zuki axles! :D
What are they - Toy truck, or didn't I read in another post that you were running FJ40 or FJ60 axles?
But still not the 8-lugs for a standard Hummer rim, so if they are Hummer beadlocks, then maybe the wheel centers were changed?
godzuki 11-20-2002, 04:30 AM sorry i havent replied yet. i will take some more pictures of the mounts. i have fj 60 axels they are hummer rims with new centers that gunracer made for me .i have a 3" backspace on them and running 2lb air . we cut the runflats down to be able to run low pressure.
gunracer1 11-20-2002, 12:44 PM he sent me a couple of pix

punkskalar 11-20-2002, 04:22 PM Jeep Cherokee XJ springs are 51 3/4 at right height (flat) with offset pins... Just to throw that out there... Just got mine mounted up to my stripped frame, so no flex shots yet...
