Same problem here. We use them as a vendor, they have alot of products we can't get anywhere else. I call while the customer is in the store, nobody there. I call the customer back later on in the day to let them know I still haven't spoke to anyone. I call my customer the next day to tell them the same story. How much effort should it take to order a track bar bracket or Rotopax gas can? Several times the customer has said they will just go online elsewhere. I lose a sale and so do you guys!! Customer service is where it's at. Your guys are nice enough and get our orders shipped, if I can reach someone. Please step up the phone support guys.

I'm still amazed at the amount of businesses that simply close down for a week or two around a big event. Poly seems like a big enough business to leave at least one or two people to answer the phone and handle orders. :confused:

same story here. ordered some small parts last monday, thought i'd have em before i left for the hammers, so my rear locker would stop leaking. being i'm 3 hours away and all i needed was 2 orings thrown in an envelope, i was pretty surprised i still hadn't seen them when i got home yesterday. tried to call several times yesterday to just cancel it, no luck. i guess i'll try again today...

I'm not sure how many actual employees Poly has, but I know there aren't a ton of them, and pretty much all of them are very involved in our sport. Would you wanna be the guy left behind to answer phones while everyone else was at the event of the year? I know I wouldn't.

KOH was a huge event, and everyone was there. If anything they should have updated the answering machine with info on when they'd be back. If they wanna close the doors for a week to go wheelin that's up to them.

They have more employees than you'd think. I am betting some were left behind during koh. I know they are prepping for their grand opening this weekend. If the phones seem down, email them.

i just got through, placed an order with them .... Thean told me they were real busy and yes a few of the guys were out at koh ... keep calling they are in the shop taking orders just have to be persistent

When were you trying to call...? Monday...? We have been SUPER SLAMMED since last week. A good chunk of our staff was out to the KOH race but we still had several guys in the call center and customer service centers.... Sounds like it wasn't enough though. As a general rule if you know what you want/need to order just go for it online. If you don't feel comfortable with that and are having a hard time getting a hold of a sales associate over the phone, email your inquiry in with your phone # and someone WILL return your call. As the president of this company I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Please PM me for more assistance if you still need it.

Yes, several of us were out there and most of us came back sick and under the weather. We are playing catch up (from being short staffed last week) with staff under the weather. Doing what we can with what we got right now. The full team should be back tomorrow.

We did keep several of the staff here to work durring the race last week. Looks like it wasn't enough. Lesson learned. We are working on upping the staff in the call/cust. service center now. Unfortunately its gonna take a bit to get staff in there and trained but we ARE working on it.

We have about 30 employees now between our mail order and manufacturing business. Yes, you are right on point man, ALOT of our guys are enthusiasts as well. I try and treat my guys good and let the ones that want to go to the events go. I guess sometimes I'm a little too nice and don't necessarily do whats best for the company. It seems like I was over estimating the abilities of our skelton crew. We will be staffed quite a bit heavier come this time next year, for sure.

Well sort of... I guess I really didn't realize of bad a bottle neck the old space and phone system were really creating. Adding about 22K sq/ft and getting little nice phone system really uncorked some more business for us. Now we have a staffing issues to deal wit the larger demand... We're working on it!
