that would be great..... how much?

basicly i need a flat round plate preferable 1/4" but 3/16 will probably work to. drilled to 8 on 6.5 bolt pattern.

here is the bumper with the existing plate that im going to need to replace.

Amazing, and Unbelievable, are just a couple of words that one could use to describe this board. It never ceases to amaze me the wealth, knowledge and fab skills that are available here and this thread is a perfect example. Not only was a question asked but soon after came a solution as well as a great looking product! You guys (and gals) truly kick ass and this board is THE best!!!

Or grab the random junk 8 lug SF axle, cut and weld. I guess this only works if you have random axle shafts laying around.

Dust Puppy;
Will put it in the mail today.

the laser that I run is capable of mild steel
from .002 thousands to 1/2 thick.
stainless from .002 to 1/4 thick.
it will cut other materials, but that gives you a range.
Thanks for the reply's.

That's exactly why we treat the useless newbies with such scorn. We don't want them mucking up the good stuff.

Hmmm....nice work. I just slapped an old spindle and hub on the tire carrier and now I have a spare that spins (unless I lock in the hub :flipoff2:) and am carrying spare parts.

Current plans call for a 35"dia painted plywood circle with a pointer mounted to the tire carrier and some sort of "wheel of ____" game painted on the plywood and hooked to my spare. Perhaps a family oriented game on one side of the plywood, and a......uh....adult :beer: game on the other.

Why do you need all 8 holes? Why not just 3 or 4? Who wants to undo 8 nuts to get at their spare?

I gotta say that is the coolest thread I have every read. Talk about instant gratification! A need, a solution three states away, a picture and a shipped product. How fuckin cool is that!
