Hi, My name is Ethan. I am new to this site and have been having problems with my 2000 jeep cherokee rhd postal beater. I have been trying to get it road worthy again and it's been difficult. Here's the deal.

Codes:
743 Torque converter clutch (part throttle unlock) solenoid circuit problem - shift solenoid C electrical fault

753 Overdrive solenoid control circuit problem


The check engine light comes on and the transmission won't downshift and just bogs to a stall. I can shift manually ok.

from my research it seems like it could be a bunch of different things like TCM, solenoids, tps, bad wiring. I don't know where to start and I am done throwing money at it. This car is turning into a massive money pit. I want to junk it but I have to much into it.

Any help?

try servicing it... (changing the fuild and filter)
