just moved from Utah to southwest MN looking for a competent fab shop within a couple of hours driving distance anyone know of one? Also any trails anyone knows of? I am in Marshall MN.

lots of good local info on there. Marshall...thats kinda in the middle of nowhere. Probably closer to teh Black Hills than Gilbert.

I don't know if the Appleton park is still open, been wanting to drive up and check it out. I live in SE South Dakota and wheeling options around here are slim. Your actually closer to the Gilbert Park (2nd link) than the Black Hills. Check out the satellite overhead on google, looks like a killer park.

You are 6+ hours from Gilbert, 7+ from the Black Hills and only an hour from Appleton.
Appleton shuts down for the winter and doesn't open til it drains out in the spring. Last year it took a long time til it opened because it's an old gravel pit and filled with water. No real challenging wheelin in Appleton though. I guess Gilbert is a real good place to go though. I can only vouch for awesome wheeling in BH.

Now you just need gas money, a good tow rig, and a lot of drive time.:D

have the tow rig and the gas rig and time is still a problem. at least according to the wife!
