Ya I was thinking the same thing. Solid...dana 30 front with the stearing brace connected to the tie rod. Sounds like a good setup to me:flipoff2:

It looks like the front spring hangers are outboard, and the rears are still in the stock location. Or am I seeing it wrong?

are you going to do anything to support those out-boarded spring hanger angle-iron pieces, i took some flat steel about a lil bigger than 1/4" and welded it in as a triangular gusset to the angle iron piece. it may be strong enough without, but it looks better that way, AND there is no such thing as too strong, especialy when you are dealing with the stress of one tons and leaf springs.

Look closer. You can see the two bolts holding the rear piece of angle iron to the frame.

Hope those angle iron pieces get gusseted!

damn i must look retarted...of course i am going to gusset the angle...:D i am going to box it in also a 4x3 1/4" bumper up front to make it more ridged...it will also be welded to the frame and not just bolted and tack welded...

it will be beefy when it is done
