Solid...dana 30 front with the stearing brace connected to the tie rod. TTM 11-20-2002, 06:44 AM are you going to do anything to support those out-boarded spring hanger angle-iron pieces, i took some flat steel about a lil bigger than 1/4" and welded it in as a triangular gusset to the angle iron piece. it may be strong enough without, but it looks better that way, AND there is no such thing as too strong, especialy when you are dealing with the stress of one tons and leaf springs. You can see the two bolts holding the rear piece of angle iron to the frame. Hope those angle iron pieces get gusseted!
