anybody have any comments on these compressors. i am in the market for something, and these seem to fit my needs without breaking the bank. i want to be able to move 15cfm @ 150psi, have a 2 stage cast iron oil lubed compressor, and use 220V single phase. i never heard of puma, but the thing is only $999 from harbor freight and i think i get free freight.

i've looked at the compressor before and IMO I could get an equal if not better compressor for 250-300 cheaper ...

i am all ears. what and where? lowes carries a porter cable model CPLKC7080V2 for $778, but it is not putting out the volume of the puma. i need to be able to move a lot of air at 150psi to drive a haskel booster pump.

I was at Home Depot the other day and they had one for $300. All i remember is that it was a 7hp. They had a 9hp for $999.
Might want to check there first. Having that shipped from Harbor would suck!!

Well crap. I can't find the company's ad on traderonline.com but locally they advertise their compressors in the Truck Trader.
A friend of mine got one, it's only a 125 psi job but does like
17 or 18cfm ... two stage, 220V job ... alot like the Puma one
just doesn't do 150 psi ... I think he paid $650 shipped to his door. This was several years back but I think the newer ads list models with 175 psi ... I think the place was called Birmingham Compressor located in Birmingham, AL

Dont forget about Grainger for higher priced (hopefully wuality) brands.
Forget harbor freight for anythign over 20 bucks.
