(get yer lazy arse under the truck on the passenger side its above all that IFS shit that is in your way. Remove all the IFS first then remove the starter, replace, then put a solid axle Dana 60 in there )

Its not his fault guys, he just doesnt know what a starter motor looks like.

It sits on the crank shaft on the front of the motor behind the pulley withthe belt on it.

Dude, your getting a flame job!

I bet even a search wouldn't have helped this easy of a question. Really it is under the motor on the passanger side close to the oil pan. It will look like a 2 liter bottle with a coke can stuck to it. The question is are you ready to mess with the 800 amps of power that it at the starter all the time. I am not so sure you are. Might want to take it to a dealer, friend. Remember that 800 amps will kill 800 people in less than a 1/10th of a second. It will turn anything that it comes in contact with to charcoal before you realize that something is wrong.

Be very careful! Good luck, don't get dead.

It will turn anything that it comes in contact with to charcoal before you realize that something is wrong If you are good you can weld the cracks in your frame with 800amps. Be careful doing this because 4 gage cable does not last long as a filler. :D
