ANy of you guys ever make half doors out of Sammy hard doors? I picked up a couple of spares doors this weekend and wanna make em into half doors similar to the Jeep ones. Ideas? Pics would be killer too! :beer:

i've got a set of factory half doors...well sorta just missing the top window section and come with metal removable plastic window frames.. kinda cool i'll never usem though...

If anyone on the East Coast wants to make a set, I have a pair of doors that I'd sell CHEAP that would be perfect for it. They have the full window frame and glass included, but no mirrors. $75, but you have to pick em up in Charlotte, NC (I can't ship em) I'll meet within 50 miles of Charlotte. They are red, a bit dented, but overall, not bad. They also have the gray interior panels in good shape.

I agree you are from Cali. Unless you live on a mountain grab the coveralls and call it done. Plus look at what you gain: you cut weight and its less to damage and cave in.
