so ?

I have an old frame with a 1 inch steer tube fork..
is there a headset that has like maybe offset bearings sitting outside the frame to run 1/18 steer tube forks on?

I don't think so man but I can't guarantee it, but I know that you can go the other way and run 1" steerer tube forks in head tubes that will also accept 1-1/8" steerer tubes. I'd call a couple bike shops in your area and ask them, it would be faster than looking online probably. Good Luck. I have a 1" steerer tube suspension fork if you are looking for one.

what fork?
I am looking to do a 29er rigid front fork on my old slingshot for a townie/ all around mild trail when needed (other bike is an enduro)

may stay with 26, but forks are hard to find.. it still has a mag 21 on it

I need to measure the headtube id and see if 1 1/8 can even fit.. thinking about making a headset, i dunno.
