I just moved to the Des Moines area. The south side to be exact. Anyone know where some local spots to go mudding or trail riding? Some level b roads where are they all at?

I know of the best spot...... But if your looking for level B roads, it may be too tough for you.

What kind of rig do you have?

an old 78 3/4 ton chevy 6 inch lift 33" tires. detriot lockers front and rear 4.10s. 350/th350/np205 setup. it gets around pretty well. i was just looking to see if anyone know of any good spots. even just a few level b's to go play on after a heavy rain

Ive got quite a few level B's down here in Madison county/Truro area. Problem is, my junk is always tore apart, so I never really get to play much.

there's some private ground the the Redneck Customs club has access to up near the Waterloo-Cedar Falls area and there's MIOBI club down closer to Des Moines

i found a decent level b road thats just a little south of me. just to go play on for a lil bit. i have been thinking about joining MIOBI. but i still need got a few mods. to do. they got a list of rules. i got a lot of buying little stuff to. im use to the old fashion redneck way of wheeling. u get stuck u get a big f*cking log chain. not a little tow traps with loops. if your to tow hooks are welded on and been tested then they are good. you dont need to put grade 8 bolts through them. when u got local people that just want to have fun. dont nick pick their rig. and not let them in because of small little petty stuff.

Yeah... Theres a reason I play on my own instead of joining MIOBI...

Good thing Madison and Union County are basically one big playground of level B's. :D

Miobis rules are all pretty basic and theyll let you slide on alot. Come down wheeling on memorial day and i garantee youll have a good time.

those rules are there to keep you safe on the trails. a hook with shitty welds or a busted chain doesn't feel good against the back of your head. miobi is a great place to wheel though , and they do let you slide on stuff for the most part.

I just may... Im currently in the process of re-doing my suspension all the way around. Whoever thought it was a good idea to put 3 jeep leaf springs and 1 47" Chevy leaf spring under a fullsized buggy thought fawking WRONG!

I may make it if work cooperates and I find a trailer...
