I have a quick question for you guys. I have an 83 4x with a 20r in it, I belive it came with a 22r? (my first toyota truck)!!! The 20r is kind of tired so I am looking for a doaner engine, heres my question. What types, and years of Toyota's will fit my truck? I know I can get one from a Celica, are there any other vehicles that I can pull an engine from? What are the advantages, or disadvantages between the 20r and the 22r, and what do you guys prefer?? also would an 8rc engine fit in my truck??

look in the for sale section and go with a 22RE convert it over to Fuel Injection. you will be glad you did in the long run.

just plain 8rc, I have a rebuilt one in my garage, and am wondering if it would fit.
