I forget the length of the rear XJ springs but what will fit back there. I'm looking for a cheep pull & save special which will yeld ~6" of lift over stock and flex to match the front springs. If I find somthing anybody want my Skycracker RR rear leaf packs?

I am getting ready to set this up right now.
The front hanger needs to be moved approx. 8 in forward and the back moves about 2 3/4" back. That puts it about to the front edge of the rear bumper. The only thing that I am worried about is hanging up on the rear hangers, but then again I am also doing a 350 swap so it should pull itself off! Remember the Chevy springs center pin is centered not offset.
Sounds like it is more fab than what you want to get into.

Nah, does not sound too bad. Ya could try and cut into the "frame rails" and putting the shackle in there a bit.
Cherokee springs are 52.5" eye to eye. Front is 23.5" and back half is 29", 2.5 wide and SOA.
Ranger springs are 57" (25.5/31.5) and SUA.
89-95 Toyota springs are 51" (21.5/29.5), 2.36 wide and SOA.
I been looking at doing a swap where I could use readily available springs at all four corners but it will take a bunch of rework on the XJ chassis.

I guess I'll try ditching the overload springs before I do anything. THe bigest problem I think is the fact that they are only 3 leaf packs (+ over load).

3 leafs in the what spring pack?
I have Chevy's on the back of my truck and they flex very good. I've found that the only time I've had a problem with them sticking out the back is when I have to back up something steep. Other than that they pretty much slide over everything. You can even buy some of those bolts that have wheels on the end if you are really concerned about it. Have any of you guys thought about using Rancho 44044's? They work pretty good too.

Unless I missed one the skyjacker rockready. 6" I have been working crazy hours I may be crazy. Anyway, since there is not a cheep way to use JY springs what is a good (quality and value) rear spring pack? If I keep the extended shackles I can get away with less then a 6" pack to yeld ~5.5" of lift.

Stock durango rear springs will get you about 8" of lift in the rear...pretty cheap if you go to a "u-pull it"

How long are the Durango leafs? What is the offset on the pin, is there any? Thanks.
