Hey guys. My Sami is stuck on the because the t-case blew up. I need to buy/borrow a case so I can get it home. Does anybody have one? I just need the case, I'll re-use my gears. None of the local junkyards have one. Thanks.

Where is it?

I have a 2wd case, that would be good enough to get home, free.

I also have a 4wd case, $50 for it. They are located at Pinole, CA which is SF East Bay (CA)

I definitely need 4WD to get out of where I'm stuck and to finish the trail. It's stuck in a canyon just outside of Reno. If nobody closer has a case, I'll take yours if I can drive down tomorrow and pick it up. Thanks.

What's wrong with the t-case?

Is the case blown up?\

Will it not shift?

Give us some details, we might be able to help you with a trail fix.

Well I landed on a rock and the case cracked. A little farther up the trail there's a big waterfall section. While negotiating the fall, the case split apart. It is no longer attached on the passenger side and I can see gears through the new "window". We tried winching it out, but it's wedged and it's going to need some wheelspin to get out, not to mention finishing the trail. It's beyond a trail fix, I just need to drop a new case in.

Track down Mike Schaefer, he's relatively local I think.

Edit: Mike Shaffer @ (775) 885-9944
