hi. i need some help. you see i have a 2000 isuzu pick up (holden rodeo here in oz)
its 2wd but im coverting it to 4wd at the moment. diffs,springs,arms all that is worked out but im having trouble finding a 5 speed-transfer to fitt up to my v6 so.......
could i use a transfer case from a nissan patrol (tx12a. this i have) and mount that in a divoced way like a 720?? i can make all parts needed and xmembers i need but i dont know if it could work.

can someone help, some pics of simalar set ups that my trigger an idea for me?

Not sure if it's the same as down there, but the 5spd in the states had an integrated tcase. It might be easier to just get a 4wheel drive 5spd with the integrated tcase. I am not sure if the output on a 2wd 5spd would mate up to an auto tcase....but some guys have added an auto tcase behind their 5spd tcase to make a "doubler" Maybe the output on the trans alone would match the input of an auto tcase :confused:

I don't think you will find many that have done this since like I said, the 5spd up here i the states (MUA5) has the tcase integrated, and when people change out stuff, they change out the trans as a whole.
