Tech Tim 03-10-2011, 09:06 PM Very cool, the M43 is based on the M37 chassis/body and is a bit smaller than the traditional Power Wagons, so it would make a nice little expo rig, especially with a 4BT or similar swap. Elwenil 03-10-2011, 11:12 PM Keep looking. The M37 series are cool but parts are getting scarce and expensive. Even the M725 that replaced the M43 is even worse and while the parts availability for the M880 is much better, it's still not what I would consider a good starting point for a expedition vehicle. If you are going for a light duty military truck, I'd look at the M1010 GM ambulance with the diesel engine, or maybe even the M1028 shelter carrier and a comm shelter for the back. | |
