Some one inch pucks, lots of swearing, and repeatedly asking ones self ...why the fuck am I doing this. after all a 1" bl on a BII is a waste of time...
A buddy of mine just put a 3" bl in his last week, but he needed it to clear the 302 we're putting in. So I wasn't kidding about the swearin part:flipoff2:

remove nuts from bolts, lift body, put in spacers, lower body, put in longer bolts, put nuts on ends of bolts, tighten nuts (righty tighty lefty loosie). As youre doing this see if anything needs to be moved/lengthened. Next hire someone else to build your buggy

I recommend FIRST going to your local tire shop, and picking out some 22" gold wire rims. Then find out if you actually need the 1" lift to fit them, or if you can just cut some fender to fit them.

The first step would be to call someone else a little more competant and let them do it . Why wouldn't you at least post a rediculous question like this in the Ford forum?

I just realized his name is Dubz. That makes the 22" wheel comment funnier. Bling Bling.

I think he wants to do this kind of body lift on a BII. Here are the instructions:

1) Remove all body bolts
2) Using jacks, hoists, over head cranes, etc. Lift Body - you may need to lift it a foot or two.
3) Roll Bronco II frame and running gear to junk yard.
4) Roll Frame and running gear from fullsize Ford PU under BII body
5) Shorten frame to fit.
6) Weld all attachment points secuerly.
7) Wheel!!!

You can get all the parts online I am sure...

As allready stated, a 1" lift is a waste of your time. 2" or 3" would be more suited to your needs. First, Locate all the body mounts. Take note as to thier location. Inside the BII, you will have to peel up the carpet above the body mounts and remove little covers that will gain you access to the body mount bolts. A quick note, the top and bottom bolt/nut heads are diffrent sizes. Dont know why, they just are. Soak the bolts with penitrating lube and let it sit over night. Now remove the bolts one one side of the truck, and 'loosen' the other side of the truck. With a floor jack, lift one side of the body and insert the pucks. Put in the new longer bolts but keep the nuts somwhat loose. Remove the bolts on the other side of the truck, and jack/remove/incert/replace. Check to see if everything in aligned correctly and torque all the bolts down to the foot lbs that are listed in the INSTRUCTIONS you will get with the body lift.
You will also need to drop the raidiator with the supplied brackets, and the exaust system also with the brackets supplied.
Make shure that nothing is binding, fuel lines, shifter linkages etc. etc.. Then your done. This will take quite afew hours or cursing and knuckle busting. So be ready for it. A 12pack of beer will make the day go by smoother though. :D

this is an old Military trick.. different sized nut and bolt heads so you only have to carry one of every wrench. ;) :flipoff2:

Its actually a nice thing on a trail rig. less tools to carry, i try to use mil spec fasteners just for this reason.. yeah, they are more expensive but i need all the extra room i can get in the heep.
