Ian-

P.S. You have been on this board long enough to know topics like this have been covered, and unless you have something new to bring up they don't need to be asked.

You are right... But I just figgured on a topic so covered in the past that someone such as yourself could just lay out the info quick and easy so I did not spend all night searching endless posts. Plus I have not been on here in 6 months cause I have been working all over the western US so cut me a little break please.

No need for new spindles, just buy the shafts and put them in......you'lll need new manual hubs or slugs.

All night
Try about 30 seconds. What do you have for an internet connection? A soup can with a wire or what?

Yes and the can is rusty and the wire is bad... Actually so much stuff came up that it was so much to look at I looked at a lot but my question was still not answered. With all the effort you folks have put forth telling me to search you could have just told me the answer. Thanks to all those that answered the question.

buy pn: 3-82-871 spicer 35 spline stub (2)
buy new ujoints (optional)(2)
buy warn locking hub pn:62672 (1set)
and break less.
simple as that.

I can get everything you need at reasonable prices. pm me if interested.

Another option for hubs is broaching and re-splingin the stock spicer units, which is reportedly stronger than the Warn hubs. has anyone done this?

Yupp We have done this for 10+ years......think I have seen one broke... Steve Gerstner here on board I believe could help you if you decided to try this rout VS the Warn Pop O Matics.
