Just bought an 89 Trooper II all exited to get into the 4x4 world and when i took it out today i learned that my 4wd is not engaging! I am more than sure its my hubs not engaging because they are the stock auto lockers :( anyone have any second opinions and a place to find some hubs for this thing all i can find are the warn premium's which are a little spendy for me atm!

I had a rodeo that did the same thing. One auto hub went bad and with an open dif you get no 4wd. I went with the warn hubs because that was the only option I could find at the time. This was 8+ years ago so I'm not sure what is available now.

Yea it really sucks not having 4x4 when that is why i bought it but getting hubs soon! Still hit the trails today anything my buddy could do in his beater Bronco 2 in 4x4 i was doing in 2x4 so still got to have some fun! :)
