A buddy of mine just got a 2000 XJ lastnight and he wasn't to put a 3-4" lift on it. He was thinking about a Skyjacker, but I suggested either a RE 3.5" super flex kit, or the tera flex 4". He wants to run 31's, what do you guys think?

Hey, slick... The RE lift is the way to go, SkyCrapper is well, crap. I would suggest doing research from different conpanies and fab up the part you guys want. I like diff. things from diff. companies. Tomkin make SOME good things and some of their stuff is better used for an anchor. Enjoy!!!!

i have to say for perfomance RE is the best. the price is ok if you plan to use it if it is just for the street look elsewhere. the lift is soft and the tires will rub in turns but oh well get out te sawzaw. i had 2 or 3 inches on my xj with 32 all terains and it rubed. this can easily be fixed for $40, buy some 2 inch coil spacers and blocks for the rear.

First thing about lifting an XJ, don't fall in love with any sheetmetal. You'll quickly run into a lot that gets in the way of decent tires. And plastic trim, lots of that will go too...
