I know some of you guys already know about this, but there is the possibility of an OHV area being created in Robbinsville, NC. This is being coordinated by Cheri Brantley. Tonight (Monday, 3/21/11) there is a Graham County Commissioners meeting at 5pm and they will have individuals speaking during the public comment period in opposition of this plan. If you can make it to this meeting to voice solid positive reasons for this OHV area please try to be there. SWFDA has been notified and is trying to get a representative there to share their thoughts on the matter. Yeah I know how most of you guys feel about Southern but they are trying to help in this matter, so be nice. Cheri Brantley should be there also.

Here is the article about the OHV area:

The commissioner meeting is on 9th Street in Robbinsville, NC at the Community Building. Phone number for the commissioners office is 828-479-7961 if you would like any more info about the meeting. If you are anywhere within the area please try to make it here as this, I believe, will be the initial beginnings of the creation of the OHV area. It would be great to have a positive first impression on the community and local government about this possibility.

That is great news. I would be there if I was not 300 miles away

My question is how did this ex employe get 2600 acres of land? I have other comments but I'll save them for now. :D

Nope, buffalo now has a fancy steel gate closing it at the bottom.
